Agios Christophoros

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF OUR TWO ORGANISATIONS IS THE PSYCHOLOGICAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL SUPPORT OF OUR MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

ORGANISATION

The non-profit organisation “Agios Christoforos” and the Sports Association “Agios Christoforos (Α.Σ.Α.Χ)  based in Paiania, Attica in 1985 are legal entities which are under private law. These organisations were established with the aim of supporting people with myopathy, a mobility disease that affects the muscles which control voluntary movement in the body. Moreover, they also help people with other disabilities, such as cerebral palsy and paraplegia. Additionally, the philanthropic organisation supports athletes that contribute to the Sports Association “Agios Christoforos” (Α.Σ.Α.Χ) with cultural and educational activities. It is the first association in Greece created to support myopic patients and their families.
